Exhibitors and Sponsors

As organizers of The 4th RNA Stability Meeting, RNA Turnover and Translation: Biological and Pathological Ramifications, we invite you to join us as exhibitors and sponsors in Montreal, Canada where the dynamic field of RNA Turnover will be highlighted by leading researchers discussing on mechanisms and translational control involving RNA binding proteins and microRNAs.

Recognized for its state-of-the-art expertise, Montréal’s life sciences business cluster benefits from the presence of world leaders in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, contractual research and medical technologies, as well as numerous research institutions that are specialized in fundamental research in neurology, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology and immunology. With more than 41,000 workers distributed among 620 private companies and 150 university and public research organizations, the life sciences sector of Greater Montréal is a world-class industry.

Five university establishments in Greater Montréal offer specialized programs in the life sciences: Université de Montréal (16 programs), McGill University (10 programs), Université du Québec à Montréal (3 programs),

This meeting, both National and International in scope, will feature Dr. Thomas Tuschl, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Laboratory of RNA Molecular Biology, Rockefeller University, as our Keynote Speaker and will gather 32 outstanding speakers. Oral and Poster Presentations along with social interactions will fill these 4 exciting days.

This conference historically attracts between 125 and 150 principal investigators and students from over 40 labs from North America, Europe and Asia. The Fourth RNA Stability meeting will address RNA Turnover with discussions on mechanisms of translational control involving RNA binding proteins and MicroRNAs. Additionally, many of the invited and selected speakers, as well as poster presenters, will focus on the link between the mechanisms and their pathological ramifications. Session topics will include:

  • Relationships between Stability and Translation
  • Basic Mechanisms of RNA Turnover
  • Biological Ramifications of Regulated RNA Turnover
  • RNA Turnover and Disease
  • Importance of subcellular localization of mRNA and decay enzymes
  • mRNA 3’Untranslated Regions revisited: Elements, microRNA’s and their pathological ramifications.

Participants at The 4th RNA Stability Meeting 2010 will range across the life science career spectrum — senior researchers and group leaders, post docs and PhD students are expected to be amongst the attendees.

Plenary lectures, poster sessions, sponsored Speakers and exhibits, prizes and award ceremonies will complement the scientific program. We look forward to welcoming you in Montreal.
