CALL FOR PAPERS - MICROBIOLOGY EDUCATION JOURNAL
The Editorial Board of ASM's Microbiology Education journal
is now accepting papers for consideration for the 2003 volume.
Microbiology Education is devoted to the dissemination
of research on teaching and learning microbiology. Submissions for the
next round
of review and selection are due October 4, 2002.
Authors of manuscripts which fall within the scope of the publication must follow the Instructions for Authors:

CALL FOR MATERIALS
Anyone with curriculum activities or visual images, animations,
or videos used to teach undergraduate microbiology should consider
submitting them to ASM's MicrobeLibrary - a portal to
a peer reviewed collection of curriculum activities, visuals, articles,
and
reviews of educational materials.
Deadline for Submissions is November 1st, 2002.

Faculty Enhancement Program - Supporting Undergraduate Faculty at
Minority Serving Institutions
to Attend Education Conference

(ASM) and who teach at 2 or 4 year institutions with a
large percentage of minority students are eligible to
apply for a travel award to attend the ASM's Undergraduate Conference
and a one-year membership to the Society.
